Woman To Mom

As a woman I was guided by my passion for art and the life I enjoyed as an artist. I would spend my days painting on canvas and my nights painting with light on film. I was fortunate to have gallery representation with sold out shows, private collectors and commissioned multimedia art to open prominent cultural events.

Then, my maternal clock struck and with the birth of my daughter Lila came the birth of the new me or better known as Mom.

As a Mom my daughter is my living work of art. The pure embodiment of love and peace Lila inspires
me to be a person she can truly admire. Her life empowers mine as she gives me strength, courage and purpose.

It is because of my daughter that I founded Mom Lounge, a support network for moms online. Since
Lila’s near death reaction from a routine vaccine, I was impelled to be proactive in making informed decisions when it came to health care. I began to host the Mom Lounge webisode show to discuss mom popular topics as a way to learn, laugh and grow together with advice from professionals.

My daughter Lila means the world to me I am proud to be her Mom, she is my endless muse of inspiration and loving her is the most empowering experience I can imagine.
